Thursday 17 December 2009 New York
Last night I attended a party at Bloomingdale's for the launch of a luxury basics line by Supima. The gift with purchase was a beautiful book I previously received as a gift after New York Fashion Week last season. Thank you MP. Robert E. Bryan, the author of American Fashion Menswear was there signing copies. I had the opportunity of meeting Mr. Bryan a few years ago when I first launched my menswear company. As usual he was dashingly handsome wearing a beautiful Navy blazer with impeccably hand sewn brass buttons. The book is sure to steal the glory of your coffee table. It is both pictorially stunning and editorially informative. |

Wednesday 16 December 2009 New York
It's very cold today in Manhattan and the wind is relentlessly whipping through the streets here in the garment district. Normally I fade to black under these circumstances. I wanted to bring some cheer to my day so this is what I came up with. So cheers! |

Friday 28 August 2009 New York
I am really excited about this season's New York Fashion Week invitations. The team spent a lot of time and effort creating what started out to be a far-fetched idea. Not to mention being in the studio until midnight last evening hand-applying the leather closures. Never omit the details. |

Thursday 6 August 2009 Tokyo
Today we ventured out to Minato-Ku another shopping destination with a sea of shops. I found these beautiful McQueen's in a really cool shop called Loveless. It was nothing less than L-O-V-E to be honest. From the moment you walk in through the dark stone cave you are intrigued by sounds on tranquil music. Once inside you find a superbly edited assortment of pieces on four levels. |

Wednesday 5 August 2009 Hong Kong
Today we journeyed out to some of the neighboring boroughs of Hong Kong City. I was particularly drawn to shopping destination Harbour City. It was great to finally get a chance to see Asia's luxury commerce up close and personal. The perspective of the rush to seed Asia is now clear and relevant. |

Tuesday 4 August 2009 Hong Kong
I'm a venti soy misto guy. This morning was a bit of a puzzle when the venti I ordered was the size of a grande. My first thought honestly and this is truly the American in me was whether or not I should order a second to equal my American venti equivalent.. I laughed and opted to not double fist my coffee at 8am in the morning. I even tried to reason with myself and say it would be ok considering I had just taken a 15 hour flight. |
