    Prospects for Miguel Antoinne Wright, the president and designer of Miguel Antoinne, are looking, well, vertical. The architecture inspired men's line, launching spring '09, champions clean, long lines and percise tailoring. "There is a beauty in very tall buildings with ornate elements," says Wright. "I capture that in my clothes."

    Wright earned a degree in fashion from FIT before becoming a buyer for Bloomingdale's. When he launched his own line, he wanted to design a collection that was not trend-driven but, instead, classic, with elegant "form-fitted silhouettes." Within architecture, Wright is particularly inspired by a column's crown that he tries to recreate in his high-collared shirts (retailing for $310).
