PAUSE, BREAK & COVID-19

 The Covid-19 pandemic of 2020 presented new challenges, but it also offered the opportunity for growth and adaptation. The lockdowns initially brought my work to a halt, but it allowed me to think outside the box and find innovative ways to continue designing and connecting with my customers.

Working from home brought its own set of difficulties, but it also gave me the chance to work in a different environment and tap into new sources of inspiration. I discovered the value of virtual collaboration and found that it can be just as effective as working in a studio.

My team and I faced uncertainty and the temporary loss of work, but we also came together and supported each other in new ways. We learned the importance of adaptability and resilience, and these skills will serve us well in the future.

While the lockdowns temporarily impacted the release of new collections, it also allowed customers to appreciate and value the fashion they already owned. It opened up the conversation about sustainability in the fashion industry and sparked new ideas for how to create and produce clothing in a more environmentally-friendly way.

The Covid-19 pandemic brought its challenges, but it also provided the opportunity for growth and change in the fashion industry. I am grateful for the lessons learned and the new perspectives gained, and I am excited to continue designing and bringing my passion to the fashion world in new and innovative ways.
